A stunt remembered.
We had carpet installed in the front room in june 2000. About a year after that Rockne swiped a bottle of baby oil, ripped the top off and proceeded to lick a bunch of it up. Guess where? Right in the middle of the new carpet. He then reminded us of the incident for a few days by farting oil.
It wasnt funny at the time but today we removed the old carpet and stopped to laugh about at him and that stunt. Hes been gone over a year now and I miss him a lot but the pain of losing him was worth the joy he bought into our lives.
Thanks for listening...

Re: A stunt remembered.
It's good to be able to look back with a smile.
I'm sure Rockne was looking down too, and sniggering like Muttley at the memory

Re: A stunt remembered.
It is nice to remember the silly things they did. It just makes you a bit more patient with your next one because you are so painfully aware that we cannot keep them forever. Farting oil, too hilarious.

Re: A stunt remembered.
Sorry for your loss of Rockne Run free sweet  boy with all our babies waiting at the bridge;
It is the wonderful memories that our babies made with us, that gets us through the tough times and all our tears to let a smile sneak in among our sorrow.
all the good things and the bad things, at the time didn't seem so funny..
Youre so right... Its the joy & the Love that they added to our life and we wouldn't trade a minuet of it all.
Thanks for sharing your lovely memory and cute story of Rockne (((HUgs)))

Re: A stunt remembered.
Memories are wonderful. I remember one time when Abby was just a puppy she got stuck under the couch. I heard her yelping and found her under the couch. I miss my baby girl so much. Thanks for sharing your memory...Linda

Re: A stunt remembered.
I had to laugh at your post; that sounds like a classic boxer stunt (especially the farting).
I am looking forward to when I can look back on Wilsons life with more smiles than tears. Thanks for sharing.
