two males?

Hi:

I currently have a one year old neutered boxer. He currently loves all dogs that will play with him. I am considering getting a second boxer for a playmate for my boy but I was wondering whether I should be concerned about the gender of this second boxer. I have spoken to someone that knows someone who needs a home for a male boxer (yet to find out all the details about the dog, neutered?, exact age ??couple years old, etc.). BUT, before going to meet this guy, and probably falling in love with him because I am a suck for boxers, I thought I had better find out whether it is a good idea or not to even think about a male when I have a male. Should I consider a female only??

I have two males and they are fine together.

Chester is a very submissive, small, neutered male
Clyde is a huge, agressive, unneutered male

For some reason, this works for them. They have never fought. Anytime their play gets out of hand, we let them know that we are in control and things are fine. They sleep together and play together all of the time.

I have 2 boxers of my own and a foster boxer. My dogs: Hammer is neutered, 11 months old. Ginger is spayed, 15 months old. We just introduced foster Comet, 7 months old to both of mine and they love each other. Especially Comet & Hammer! Since they are about the same size (Ginger's teeny) they just love playing together.

Let them meet on neutral ground at first and see how it goes!
