My Sasha is also very friendly...she's 14 weeks and comes to work with me in the city everyday - which means we go out on the street across the road to the church for toilet breaks and nearly every person we pass wants to say hello. And when someone DOESN'T say hello she also sits and stares at them like "what, don't you want to say hi???"

^^^that makes me convinced Bruce and Sasha may be from the same litter after all! We go for walks, Bruce sees someone approaching and immediately sits down to wait for the human to come and bestow 'oohs' and 'aahs' and 'lovin' onto him! He looks so offended if they don't!

Makes for some bl**dy long walks too!

Cool

Thank goodness that Cody is ok. We met a beautiful Staffordshire pup (about four months old) in the park the other day whose owner is clearly bent on making him an attack dog. Sad and bizarre to see a puppy ruined and so mean at such a young age.

And it all seems clear: we're all in the same friendly puppy boat.

And every walk requires the patience of a saint!

She stubbornly refuses to belief that not all dogs really want to play. With one friend's dog, we nearly came to blows (after she ignored both growls and teeth: we have allower her some "negative" experiences in the socialization process, she has to learn somehow). If any consolation, she seems to be getting the no-I-don't-want-to-play message a bit quicker than before.
My Mater man is the same way, everyday all the time is play time! A few negative experiences is the only way he started to read the way other dogs were reacting to him.
At nine months he is finally starting to back off with other signals from dogs that they don't want to play but it doesn't mean he won't go back five minutes later and try again.
