Question Canidae or Iams for puppy?

what is the difference beteew iams puppy and iams large breed puppy? which is better for a boxer? I have also been looking at switching to canidae but is there a big difference between QUALITY of the two brands, i know people dont like aims because of some new s that came out, but i just want to know about the quality and which is better for my puppies. I also have a new 11 week old puppy moving in and is canidae ok for that young? I need as many opinions as i can get. the new puppy is currently on iams large breed puppy formula.

Canidae is far far superior a food based on ingredient list and quality. Iams is not a great food even if they DIDNT do those terrible things. Canidae is an all life stages food and I fed it to my 10 week old puppy. He was on it for a year and is now almost two and very healthy. He got bored after about a year though and really prefers the Chicken Soup dog food. You are definately getting bigger bang for your buck with canidae. I would highly recommend that over Iams as would pretty much anyone on this board.

LOL - yes, for quality there is absolutely no contest. Canidae wins by a mile

I just want to be the third to say CANIDAE is far faaaaar far better than Iams. And this is purely based on ingredients and quality, not even factoring in the "studies" or other things people dislike about IAMS and similar brands

My dog could not digest Iams. I have him on Bil Jac now but am exploring other options because his coat doesn't look real great right now and he has dandruff for the first time in his life. I switched from (ok I will admit it here and get it over with) Pedigree Digestive Care mixed with canned. Ok Ok I had a very limited income for the past 2 years and a very picky eater in Mac. He still won't have alot to do with the Bil Jac so I am looking for a new option.

Back to the point, my vet even says Iams is not good for this breed as their digestive systems are fragile.

Iams is crap. My vet told me I needed to feed a better quality like Iams or Science Diet. I just laughed at that one.
