What did everyone feed their puppy?
Our reverse brindle boxer Bella will be with us in about 5 weeks. I was set on TOTW and then I found a place that sells Orejin and Nature's Variety Instinct. I am not sure what I want to do for her food. Any advice on all three foods?

Congratulations on getting your puppy!!
All 3 are good foods. I have fed my boy Orijen and TOTW. I now feed him Acana which is made by the same company that makes Orijen.
Of the 3 that you mentioned, I prefer Orijen. TOTW made his coat dry. Everydog is different so try one and see how she does. If she does well on all 3, then you can rotate the foods every few months.
Enjoy your new puppy.

They're all good foods! I started Juno out on TOTW, but it did not sit well with her--but, the next 4 or 5 brands we tried also did not sit well with her, so I'm inclined to think it's a problem with my dog, and nothing to do with the food.
Like mentioned above, every dog is going to tolerate food differently, so it's really just a matter of trying one and seeing how she does. It's up to you how you decide which one you should try first--whether you base it on price or eenie-meenie-miney-moe.

I fed my boy Canidae when he was a puppy, but that was back before their formula change and it was a better food then. Now I bounce between TOTW Pacific Stream and Earthborn Primitive Natural, both are all life stages foods and grain free.

I have my 15 week old boxer puppy on Acana Ranchlands and he loves it. I have two Boston Terriers and I have them on Orijen Original.

Congratulations!! I have always fed our dogs Nutros. It is a pretty good balance without being overly expenisve and some months I am thankful for a less expenisve dog food. haha. but Charlie has always done well on it, soft shiny coat, and no tummy problems.

We started Natural Balance Omega Dog. It's new and the dogs love it. I used to have to put stuff on the TOTW to get them to eat it, but they'll eat this with nothing.

Just for the record....getting a Boxer puppy HOME and SETTLED is an oxy-moron. Boxer pups don't "settle".
Just a little public service announcement!

I would say it depends on how much you want to put out for food. All of them are great foods. I personally LOVE TotW, it's grain free and all our dogs have done great on it but we've also been lucky enough to not to have to worry about sensitive tummy's or allergies. Right now we're feeding Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul and Diamond Naturals. I can get 35-40 lb bags of both of those for cheaper than I can get 30lbs of TotW. While they do have grains they're still pretty good quality foods and my babies have done well on them so until we make more money we're going to have to stick with those.
