Another Poop Question

We brought Axel home almost a month ago (he's now 3.5 months old). He is on Eagle Pack food, as per breeder recommendation. He is growing well, he put on 8 pounds in about three weeks, and the vet says it's all skeletal. He is lean and very cute (28 pounds as of Thursday). Vet says our pup will go about 70-75 lbs. My problem is that I believe he poops too much! It is well formed, but he is going about 10 times a day and that seems a bit excessive. He has gone three times so far today, and it's barely 9 am. Question one is whether I should be alarmed, because right now I am. Question 2 is whether this holistic food he's on might be causing the issue. I've not owned a boxer before....any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Well if you're feeding the regular Eagle Pack I would switch foods as there is corn in there which is a filler and it's pretty grain heavy. If you're using the Eagle Pack Holistic it is an okay food ingredient wise but you may be feeding too much which would account for the waste. There's nothing "wrong" with your pup as long as the stools are solid, however something isn't quite right either it's the fillers or too much food as no your pup should NOT be going that many times per day. Maybe a change in food will help the issue. I'd encourage you to look at the dogfoodanalysis.com website.

Hope that helps some!
