I'm not much of an expert on this but i don't think that the store lady knew what she was talking about. Dogs will generally do better on raw food because that is what they are ment to eat(don't see too many bags of kibble running around in the wild). Kibble is just a man made food to try and best replace this in a simple easy to use form. If you look at a boxers physique it has a higher muscle mass to fat ratio than most breeds so a high protein diet would suit them well. It would also be perferable too have a reasonable high essential fat ratio too as this could be stored as reserve energy to compensate for their low body fat. Carbs would need to be relatively low as stated before wild dogs do not eat much carbs in the wild so why would a domesticated one need too. This is just my opinion and others with more knowledge may disagree. To me a dog is basically a wild animal tht we have manipulated to suit our needs and tastes and most wild dogs i have seen eat raw meat so why shouldn't ours. My pup has a combination of both at the moment but as he gets older i am hoping to phase out the kibble and source my own raw diet for him.

My 2 cents

Hedrix did not do well on Origen Puppy as a puppy, it was too rich. As he got older and i switched him from Merrick puppy to Acanda Pacifica, he did great. Then recently I tried him on Origen Regional red and he is doing amazing. I did the switch over a 2-3 week period and now for about the passt week and a bit, he has been on a complete regional red diet.

As far as the aggresion topic goes, I don't think that it is aggresion at all, I see it more as a increade in energy and that is their way of trying to burn it and get our help in doing so. Hendrix has become a little more rambunctious, especially when I get home from work...and rightfully so, he has a lot of nergy that needs to be burned. He is just saying "Hey man...lets play, go for a walk, through the ball, wrestlte....something...C'MON, C'MON!!!!!" or at least that's the way I interpret it and I respond with doing my best to comply to his needs.
