Best Boxer Puppy Food

Hello, there are sooooo many, what is best? I have heard Orijen, Innova, canidae, Go Natural, where do I start?? The breeder says eukanuba is best. Anyone have any experiences about puppy food and what is best for the boxer puppy? Thanks.

Hello,

You should go to http://www.Dogfoodanalysis.com. It gives you ratings on food, and which ones might be best for older dogs only. I used it to research food for our Odin, and we decided on Wellness Puppy in the yellow bag. I have also heard that an all stages food is a good idea too. Good luck in your research!

The first place I'd start is dogfoodanalysis.com. It rates the foods 6 star to 1 star (1 being worst and Eukanuba I think is a 1). A lot depends on how well your pup does on a food. I would just pick one that is at least a 4 star and start there. A lot depends on what you can get in your area and how much you want to pay. Also, you might find out your pup doesn't tolerate it and have to switch. Remember to switch any food gradually with the current food, at least over a weeks time, and give it at least 2 weeks to a month to see how your pup tolerates it. It can take some time for tummy issues to resolve with a new food. Good luck!
