I'm still here

I'm sobbing. Lost my first boxer, Rocky, three years ago. Even my vet cried the day we put him down. I've always felt the times that I'm thinking of him he's standing beside me. Thanks for sharing the poem.

What a beautiful thought~I hadn't thought of it that way.
In saying that I feel their presence in my life at odd times.
I'd like to think my Striker and Hershey are beside me too when I'm thinking of them, which is often. I miss them both so much.

Beautiful poem! But I really should not read these at work. My co-workers are going to wonder what's wrong. *sniffle* *sniffle*

Those poems are so real, and true!! I am a firm believer that they never do leave us, just as humans don't. I loved every word of it, almost made me cry! Thanks so much for sharing, I hope it brings some comfort to those who have lost a loved one.
