DOG RULES

1. The dog is not allowed in the house.
2. Okay, the dog is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
3. The dog is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.
4. The dog can get on the old furniture only.
5. Fine, the dog is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.
6. Okay, the dog is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
7. The dog can sleep on the bed whenever he wants, but not under the covers.
8. The dog can sleep under the covers by invitation only.
9. The dog can sleep under the covers every night.
10. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the dog.

Love it !! So true too ..thanks Bruisers Pop for sharing the Dog Rules.. I think I should make a copy and post them on my refrig.. Haha, just so I don't forget now

lol so true. My BF tried in vain to set these very rules (except for the not allowed in the house one) when Gunther first came to live with us. Now, Gunther can come up on all the furniture whenever he wants and sleeps with us every night. But he is such a good boy, he deserves it. I tried to set the rule of no table scraps and that didn't work either.

Great rules. I got a kick out of those. Lexi and Titus were always in the house but first they weren't allowed on the furniture. Then they got their own chair, but not allowed on the bed. Now, they can get on the bed, but only if I invite them. I refuse to allow them to do anything further down the list.
