A Day That Just Started
I open the front door after working an eight hour shift
Lying in your orange chair you give your leg a lift
Gone all day and this is how you greet me
With your manhood spread out so neatly
I head to the fridge for an ice cold beer
Glad that my day has come to a near
But you sit and look at me like your day has just started
I look at you knowing it was you who just farted
The whole house smells like you were doing it all day
Your eyes say enough with chit chat; let’s get on with the play
You grab your favorite toy, or which ever is newest
Throwing it in the air has always been the coolest
You have had enough of that so prance over and put it on my knee
Sorry Tyson not right now I have no energy
With butt in the air and chin to the floor
He lets out big woo woo and I say no more.
One last sigh and a sad look he stares
Walking away thinking every other day he cares
I broke down and got down on all fours
And with exuberance he pours
Jack hammering all the way
Exactly what he has been waiting for all day
Dedicated to every boxer who has changed a human’s day.
