The Beautiful Boxer

If you've always thought of Boxers, with their squashed-up faces, as charming but ugly, you may be surprised to know that according to legend the Boxer is the most beautiful dog of all. The story goes that the Boxer was the last dog created by God, who fashioned it lovingly out of clay before declaring it to be absolutely perfect. The dog was so excited that it couldn't wait until the clay dried to take a look at itself - it ran headlong towards the nearest mirror - and squashed its perfect face against the glass.

So, next time you see a Boxer, remember it's not ugly - it's beautiful.
