A poem about Sarge

Sarge, (who left me on 3/15/07, 2 days ago.)

I wept again today upon your membarance.
It wasn't too long ago you were in my bed,
Softly sleeping & joyously dreaming;
And the things you were chasing is probably better left unsaid.

The joy you brought the first day it undescribable,
As I found you crying to get in,
I adopted you into my home and heart,
I found myself saying, "Your so cute it's a sin!"

So the next night you fell asleep in my arms,
It was then that I'd first kissed your head.
It felt so good to have you trust me,
But it was even better to see you fed.

I watched you play around with the other dogs,
Oh how much smaller you were!
I loved you so much from the start,
And this I was for sure.

But the day came way to quickly,
A day I will never forget.
A day that it was too late to say good-bye;
I had just lost an amazing pet!

A peice of you is still left,
A peics I will never let go.
I want to tell you I love you,
And I will forever miss you so!

All I want is to hold you again,
I just one one last chance to hold and kiss you!
I want to run my habd down your soft fur.
Oh why did you go so soon?!?

Oh, the innocence of a puppy!
I considered you my son.
All you wanted was a home and a friend,
And I thought I had gave you one.


Sarge, I love and miss you soooooo much, you just dont even know.
