I am wondering why are the threads closed if they're all talking about photography? Interesting.

You didn't read the site FAQ on your way in then, I guess All threads with no participation for more than 30 days close automatically. It is irrelevant what the topic was.

Yes, I understand now and I guess I see your point.... a dead thread is a dead thread. BUT! There are new folks that would bring threads back from the dead as well. Especially if someone had a question that was never answered. :-)

Then start a new thread specific to your questions. Sometimes it takes a new thread to generate new responses. Older ones tend to drift off and lack interest.....so spark some new!
