EWOS Line
Hi to all,
Is anyone familiar with the EWOS bloodline? I am looking to get my first boxer (I'm very excited I might add) and the breeder I am talking to says that her male is from the EWOS line "which has had many champions plus superior health records". Any info you could give would be wonderful.
Thanks,

EWO Boxers has been around for some time, the breeder is Earl Overstreet (he was also a handler). I don't know what his health testing protocol is (and I'm not sure whether he's breeding, or just has stud dogs at this point), but a web search will bring up his site. (Can't post it here as he's not on our listing. )

Titus is from EWO Bloodlines. I have met Mr. Overstreet on several ocassions. Mostly at shows in NC, SC and Va. My breeder knows him very well. They usually have a litter together every couple of years or so.

Paisley has CH. EWO's Nice and Easy SOM in her line, but it's her great-great grandfather, but she also has several other CHs from other lines in her pedigree too. Earl is extremely nice! I met him for the first time last year at the Danville Kennel Club dog show. I know he had a litter of his own then, but I've not heard anything much about him breeding lately. Like others have said, he handles a lot, and only has a few dogs of his own right now. He handled a boxer to BIS at the Danville Kennel Club dog show back in sept. I don't know much about his health testing either.. if I did, I'd tell you!! Good luck!

If the breeder in question is from North Carolina, ask for vet references and check to see what health testing was done!!!!!!!!!!! If it is who I think it is he only offers a 72 hour vet check and $500.00.

EWOs line
Hello, my Grandfather-in-law...I guess that is what he is called to me, anyway my wife's grandfather...is Earl W. Overstreet (EWO) and I may be biased, but I think he has the best Boxers. I co-own one whith him and can't wait to get another one from him. If you are interested go to his website:

Thanks Maniago but I was responding to JulieM for editing my post.... Last edited by JulieM : 01-20-2005 at 10:17 AM. Reason: Removed website of breeder not on our list.
Which was only a couple of weeks ago. My point is that if there is going to be an "approved" list of breeders that a URL can be posted for and you are going to edit posts for having URL's, at least have a list!

Reason: as you can see a post can be edited for any reason, or none at all
