Lady's Pedigree

Hello -

Can anyone tell me anything about Lady's 3-generation pedigree? The only name I recognized off the bat was the Jacquet name. I googled the different kennels but again, the only kennel with a site was Jacquet. I know Hi-Tech's Arbitrage is a well-regarded sire, I read that he won Westminster? I included titles but I am translating them from Portuguese so they could sound a bit off - I think the Grand National Winner title is from 1999, when Lady's sire was Best Dog in Brazil, but I'm not sure. The Champions I marked with an asterisk are listed on the pedigree as Champions made outside of Brazil, so I'm assuming they are mostly American and maybe some Canadian. I am going to ask her breeder more details about the whole pedigree later, buI am interested to hear what other folks have to say. Thanks, Mariah. (PS I had to put these lines in b/c the site kept aligning everything on the left side, sorry it looks weird.)

Biff (Ch. Hi Tech's Arbitrage, SOM, LOM) did not win Best in Show at Westminster, but he won the Group at least once. (The last Boxer to go BIS at Westminster was Ch. Arriba's Prima Donna in 1970.) He was the Top Twenty winner in 1992 and the Top Boxer for probably more than a couple of years. He was a popular stud dog and has stamped his look on his descendents. He is the grandsire of Ch. Hi Tech's Johnny J of Boxerton, SOM, also a Top Boxer during his prime, who was the Top Twenty winner and Best of Breed at ABC in 2000. Johnny, in turn, was the sire of Danny, Ch. Brookwood's Dream Dancer, who won the Top Twenty in 2003, and Danny's son Tommy, Ch. Brookwood's Mystic Warrior, the current Top Boxer, was Best of Breed at ABC 2003.

That's Dakota! A very nice dog -- just died last year. Eleanor Foley (Elharlen) has worked very closely with some kennels in Brazil so there are a lot of Brazilian Elharlen champions.
