Red face Playtime Toys?....

I am wondering if anyone can help me.... my boxer has a very short attention span and I need some ideas as to some toys that seem to be keeping the attention of your boxers. She loves to play catch for a couple of throws then she is automatically looking for something else to do I want to be able to take her out without her getting bored after a few minutes. Any ideas....?

Well, Doja loves to play fetch with sticks or balls. But once she gets bored of that we play keep away..... I chase her all around till I get the ball, once I get it, she chases me and so on till she gets tired out and needs a water break!

We just got Chaos a tether ball and he loves it. He'll wear himself out playing with it.

Crash has a pretty short attention span also. He's getting a little better the older he gets but we still work pretty hard to keep him busy. Right now he loves balls. He isn't that good at fetching but he loves to jackhammer them all around the house. We have also started to hide his kong (filled with treats) and have him go and look for it.

crashsmom--as in jackhammer are you talking like making the object jump. if so maverick does this with any toy that will bounce ball, his rubber ring anything. he will put it on the couch and bounce up and down on it is that what jack hammer is. it is so funny.

we give maverick kong filled with goodies and he has this yuckey glove that he just loves last night it was raining and he hates the rain well he saw that dang glove outside and ran down the stairs just to get the dang thing and brought it in the house. that thing is so nasty but he loves it so i let him have it. so funny. he is starting to play with his toys alot more that he use to bc he is left home because we work now so i think he likes his toys better now bc of that reason.,

Thank you so much!

Thanks everyone for your input I got a lot of good ideas that I am going to try with my puppy and see maybe if she will get interested in something more... Maybe its just the age thing maybe the older she gets the longer her attention span will get... hopefully....

I always play with 2 toys with my baby and she never gets bored! It doesn't matter which two, because she ALWAYS wants the one I have.. As soon as she gets the one she wants, I say "OK, but look, I have this one!" And she changes her mind!

This has kept her attention for at least an hour on occasion. Downside is it requires your attention, so if you are trying to accomplish chores or something it wouldn't work..

R.J.'s favorite toy is an empty plastic milk jug. I rinse it out well, remove that cap and let him bat and kick it around the house. Other than that, he loves balls and his cuz.

mine loves the plastic bottles, you've just got to watch out if they swallow a bit when they chew it off, im forever having to get bits out of her mouth before she chokes, i try not to give her any but she can jump as high as the kitchen top and help her self.
