Susie, you rest up today sweetie

Dan, are you planning on working both together in a routine, or seperate routines? I've tried the dual thing but it's the music that's the cruncher, can't find something that two dogs can work to as a team as they are so very different in the speed and style on freestyle moves and I like music that suits their natural gait etc. And, as mentioned, I'm not naturally gifted at working to music so that's a bit of a let down for the dogs. I'm sure you won't have that trouble!

Okay, never mind the small stuff like training for this - get to work on choosing your outfit Men look fantastic carrying a cane, which also makes a brilliant target stick for training.

That is just too cute! Dan, I'm waiting for the day to see you and your girls in a pas de trois, setting the stage on fire Maybe dancing to something like "Hound Dog" or "Bird Dog"... I'm sure "What's New Pussycat" would be totally inappropriate.... sorry, I'll stop now

That was such a great clip, though! Thanks!

Well I'll certainly have to train the separately. Susie has now become very jealous of me working with Maggie as well as her. She jumps on her and barks at her to "get away, we're working here ! "

I'm not sure that I'll do Freestyle with both dogs yet. I may just do Susie and do Agility with Maggie. Haven't decided yet as it is early in the training and I'll have to see how each does as we work a little more.

Now as for outfits and music. . .

I'm of the old (real old) school so, Fred Astair, "Top Hat" sort of musical number would be perfect for me. I'm an old Broadway hoofer as well (still have my Union cards) so working out a routine won't be hard for me. I'll just have to "choreograph" it to suite their particular style(s). Oh I can come up with a million ideas on "themes" and music. Just depends on my mood.

Now I think the very most difficult part would be to get Susie to actually WEAR the costume !
