Is anyone doing freestyle classes with their dog? Our trainer is one of, if not the only, freestyle trainers in Nashville and we are planning to sign up for her beginner Freestyle class. Tomorrow we will finish an obedience class that she is teaching and we just love her. She is from Switzerland and has Poodles, it is so neat to watch her with her dogs, they are so smart and agile. She thinks that Cooper will do great and that since Boxers are so animated that he will be very entertaining. So far the freestyle moves that Cooper knows are spin, round, (circling my legs) and back up. We are working on staying in the heel position, but I think he will catch on if I am more diligent. Anyway, has anyone tried it, or thought about it?? I will let you all know how it goes and maybe even post a video of us if he does OK.
