Rally question

I was wondering if a child could show in rally? My daughter, who will be 6 this month loves working with Sadie. Sadie is older and has the patience of a statue.. Sadie has been through basic obedience with myself and my daughter. I thought this would be good for both of them. I am looking more for fun not serious competition. I have looked online a little bit, but you all are the experts so I am turning to you. I saw they have novice competitions, but did not know if this meant youth or adult or both.
