Question question to all horse owners

hey everyone! I have a question....I am teaching my 1 1/2 yr. old to lunge and he constantly wants to come back to me! I know that its good to have someone at his head until he understands, but unfortunately there is noone, most of the time, that I could ask to do that for me.
Hope someone can help me with this, as I am between a rock and a hard place!!

Thanx...

Esther

hello VERY LUCKY INDEED!! I've been riding english for aout 5 or 6 years now and I havnt had an oppertunity of owning my own horse yet!.... I've been taking dressage and its just so wonderful how much you learn to bond to an animal in such a short time...I've been recently riding an ex grand prix horse who is just the best teacher in the whole word because he goes the way you ride him.. if you pull too hard on a certain reighn he will let u know.. if ur not asking properly for a certan command he will let you know and despite his old age he's like a young horse who bucks and spooks and oh he can be such a handful standing at over 17 hands tall.... I was recently at petfinder and just looking and there is the CUTEST ango arab who's just 1 year old and what a gREAT LOOKING horse its going to be!
