H1N1 confirmed in CAT
Didn't know that this virus was able to be passed to domesticated animals. I read about the possibility of it being found in a ferret last week now this confirmation by the AVMA and a cat having it. YIKES!

I just read this. My first thought was omg, how many stray cats are there out there to pass this around? However, they did say that it was a indoors cat that was in close proximity to the humans in the house. That being said though, the article didn't state whether the cat was let out at all or whether it was strictly an indoor cat. If it is strictly an indoor cat then it wouldn't be able to pass it on.
