Meet Spanky
4 years after our indoor cat died (18 yrs old) and 7 months after our last cat died (14 yrs cancer) DH finally gave into my whining and pleading and let me get another cat. We went to the humane society on Saturday and brought home Spanky. She's a little over a year old and was a surrender who has been at the kennel since April. She's declawed and obviously has not missed many meals in her short life - she's fat! But she's been with us for a day and a half and hasn't eaten anything. I'm not too worried about it yet because she is playful and very friendly. She isn't acting like anything is wrong. So far the dogs have been pretty good with her although Bella is obsessed. Here's a picture.
