we will be getting a boxer withing a few months. . . . we were brainstorming some names? what do you like? any suggestions?

male: boomer, luka, kameko or tyson

female: roxy, jade, layla, kioko, kiana, mia, luana, zoey(zoé), jewel

Yes, you are right, I will definatly wait until I get my boxer to decide what to name him/her. We're not sure whether or not we want a male or female. We definatly want a dog that will be good with kids since we have an 8 year old. Do you have a preference of male or female, why? Koby, my lab, is a male, and I couldn't ask for a better dog. He's a great all around dog. It's just nice to see what names other people like. I know that my fiancé likes boomer & tyson for a male, but doesn't really have much of a preference for female. I'm not very fussy about boomer, but I like tyson and luka. For a female, I'm torn between a few.

I think you should start calling out the names around the house to see what sounds okay, & what sounds silly.
