Odin & Louise

My boy's name is Odin. Not that common though there is another boxer on this board named Odin.

Our foster's name is Louise. I'm sure that's unique! I'm not responsible for her name the shelter is. I really did not like it and was planning on changing it but somehow it has stuck and 2.5 months later we still call her Louise.

Brewtus

There are a few brutus' on the forum, but it is in the spelling that makes my little guy's name unique. I always wanted a Boxer named BREWTUS and finally got him on July 18th. He really does not look like a brewtus because he has that puppy face but I am sure he will grow into the name.

OUr baby boy is named Lucky. I haven't seen another Lucky pup on here yet, but that's not to say there isn't one. Tom wanted a name that could be for a boy OR girl, and was at least a little unique. Of course Lucky isn't feeling so Lucky today...he's being neutered

We call him Maxx, but his real name is Smaxxwell (get it?) When I tell people his real name I usually have to go through the whole...he's a Boxer, so he "Smaxxwell" I thought it was funny but most other people just think it's stupid.

Wolcott's Sweet Potato Pie is the name we went with because she had to have both "Wolcott" and "Sweet" in her name and she is the exact color of a cooked sweet potato! She has several nicknames (Tater, Tate, Tater-roo, Tater-Tot, etc.) but we mostly call her Tatie

People ask her name and when I say "Tater" (for some reason "Tatie" confuses them even more) they look at me really weird. Then they say "she's a girl??" LOL! Most of the time when people hear me calling her "Tatie" they think I'm saying "Katie" and will call her Katie. One lady even said "oh, you are such a pretty girl! Too bad your Mom named you such a silly name!". WTH???

Oh well...I love her name and think it's very original!

Our little girl is named Remington. While I havent noticed a Remington here as of yet, there are a lot of them out there. I have met multiple hunting dogs with the name Remington or Rueger.

Oh well, maybe its kind of unique...at least to this breed!

Beau was Bono when I got him and I didn't like it, so he's now Beauregard (Beau for short). I know a lot of dogs named Bo or Beau, but I don't think any of them are actually named Beauregard. The prize for originality in my family goes to my brother. He's a huge Cal Ripken fan, so his JRT is Ripken. I've never heard of another dog (or other pet for that matter) with his name and it really does fit him...he's nuts for a ball!

We have Siris(you can spell it frontward and backward the same-the kids did that) and Simeon. We call them Si and Sim or Si Si and Simi. Love those boys!

[QUOTE=LiLBiZzounce]I don't think I know of any dogs named Katahdin... QUOTE]

I look at that name and think Cat-4-Din. Hope the dog doesn't one day take it as an offer. LOL

Thumbs up

My Bojax is very unusual. He is a rescue that came to us with the name Bosiphuis. We had just lost our beloved Max and our other rescue Jagger. So when he came to us we put them all together and got Bojax. He seems to really like it he has always come when we hollor at him. We sometimes call him Bobo and bojaxy but mostly Bojax.
