Some more names,
Roscoe, to me, connotates a tough guy, kind of feisty.
Atilla, Khan, Alexander and Hannibal, famous conquerors of history,
Nero - bloodthirsty Roman Caesar,
The ever popular Spike,
Rajah - majestic Indian ruler
Bagheera, the black panther from the Jungle Book
Once you see your pup and get to know his personality, you will have an easier time picking out a name.

I think I like names that complement the traits and characteristics of the breed. Boxers are wild and crazy, boisterous, comical, loveable, yet also bold, fearless, tough, and all muscle.
I chose to name my current Boxer for the comical side of his nature - Bing.
Also for males, I like the names Kojack, Scooby, Ruffus, Chico, and Snoop. You could also go the ancient history notables route, ie Ceasar, Zeus, Homer, Tut, Orion, Moses, etc.
For females I like Tia, Layla, Delores ( yes, Delores lol ), Sheba or Shena, and Chakka ( prounounced ShawKa as in Chakka Kahn, or also ChalkA like chalk).
One thing to note, the name should be short and simple so your dog easily learns his own name.

A friend just told me about their former cat, with the unfortunate name "Number 45" - they lived in Chinatown.
For boxer boys I like Pete, Biggs, Tiny, or Fluffy...and of course my Titus (Tie), and our current foster is Oz - we've also had a Mitch, Toby, Rocky, Willy...
For boxer girls I like Greta, Molly, Penny, Maggie, Lucy, Anya...and my Xena, plus we had a Tessa foster once...

I like the names Diva or Lexi for the girl.
For the boy I really like the names Duke, Apache, Tyson, and Roscoe.
But if all eles fails Coal is a very good name!

We have a white boxer named Powder. My wife wants to get a puppy and call it Puff. I could imagine calling them together at the dog park..POWDER..PUFF. I had to veto that one.
I like:
Gunny (Short for a Marine Gunnery Sergeant)
Hummer
HAMMER
GODZILLA or Zilla
Twister
Ruger
My wife likes:
Zane
Ruger
It's going to be "Her" puppy so she gets to name it. sigh So far she is leaning towards Ruger.

I loved lots of names, but my husband named both of ours! He named them for things that he loves in life.
Rita - Beatles song - "Lovely Rita, Metermaid"
*We acctually get tons of complements on the name Rita??
Munson - Larry Munson has been the play by play for the GA Bulldogs for about 40 years and we are huge fans
I loved these names:
Catch
Hollywood
Penny (Rita is white with one fawn spot that looks like a huge penny)
Hershel (Walker)
Vince

Names
My male Boxer's name is Brody. I think that is a little different and kind of masculine. I thought of naming him Max, but I'm glad I settled on Brody . My female Boxer is named Holly. I got her as a Christmas gift and wanted to name her something associated with Christmas. I thought about Star, but decided on Holly. Have fun deciding on a name.
