Thanks. On the silhouette, I took a picture of him in the shadows. Later, I opened it in Microsoft Paint and just painted him black and the background blue.

We have three babies, two females and one male. One of our females we named Bambi as her fawn color reminded us of a baby deer. Our other female, Ginger, was named in a familiar way as her dark brindle coat made me think of ginger root. And last but not least, our male is named Bruiser, for obvious reasons

I named her Madchen because I wanted to give her a German name as they originated in Germany and I am German, and it means Little Girl and she is definitely my little girl.

I named my 1yr female boxer Tia because in my family all the names start with T for 5 generations, and the moment I saw her I knew she would be part of our family forever. That and when she is curling up on my side of the bed it's a short name to yell at her to scoot over.

Origins of Lara
Lara was off a list of names supplied by the litter's godmother. All of the names started with 'L', and we liked that one best. It was the sweetest sounding name there Too bad 'Lil' Stinker' wasn't on that list LOL!

I wanted to find a noble, German name for my little girl, so I named her Hildegard (Hildie) after Hildegard von Bingen, who was a healer, theologian, composer and poet back in the middle ages. (She was, I believe, later canonized as a Saint.) I figured I couldn't beat that for a noble German name - but my little Hildie is certainly no saint!!!!

I got Peanut when he was 4 weeks old. He was very small the runt of the litter. He rode around in the pocket of my overalls for his first 3 weeks with us. He just looked like a Peanut. Now he is a big Peanut! Spice had her name when she came to us.

Xena was going to be Daisy for a long time - that was my favorite name for a girl Boxer, and it fit with her registered name that the breeder picked (Bowmak's One Fine Day). But when we got there to pick her up, she was stomping on her brother and sister, and I went to sit on the floor and play with them and she fought the other two off of me. She was just very feisty and tough, and Dave said, she's a warrior princess - we have to change it to Xena! I didn't really love it at first but it does definitely suit her personality.
I like wimpy names for big, tough looking dogs, and tough names for little fluffballs. If I ever have a small dog (chi or boston or something), he's going to be Cujo.
