AKC naming

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if everyone could help me try to figure out an AKC name for Creed. I get 27 letters including the spacing. If you have any thoughts please post them. So far we have Lord Creed but want to add something more to it. We want it to sound strong and majestic. Thanks for your help in advance.

Karen

I am no expert at this but do you know Creed's parents name or grandparents names? I sometimes think it is fun to put a new combination of their names with your babies names.

I always use my last name when I register my dogs as their last name. Hope that helps

I also just give them "human" names using my last name. My dogs are Bonnie Reggie LaPointe, Clyde Reggie LaPointe and Chester Reggie LaPointe (my step-son wanted them all named after my husband's former boxer, Reggie) But If you want it to sound more majestic, how about:

Lady Karen's Creed

Or something to do with where you live like:

Virginia's Lord Creed

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Karen

It is customary and courteous to include the breeder's kennel name in the registered name. You may also want to include something of or alluding to the sire's name (for instance, if the sire was "Flame" you could include "Ember" or "Fire" in the puppy's name).

Wow, you have a Creed too? I almost thought I was reading one of my old posts. LOL!

Our's is Georgia Boy's Creed. Can you guess where hubby's from?
My collie's registered name is Nellie's Golden Gatekeeper but his informal name is Sunny. It took me weeks to figure out what his reg. name would be.

Since I'm just a non-breeding pet owner, I just pick fun names. We start our doggies with "MNK's" which is the first initial of my hubby's name N (and) the first initial of my name - with a posessive apostrophe. Then we pick a first name - we like people names. Alexis (Lexy)'s middle name is that of my first boxer - Trisha's Rosebud (guess I need to add her to my signature line - at the bridge). Bailey's middle name came from her silly little habit of eating anything small that flies, crawl, or creeps. YUK!!!!

I know how tough this can be. It took me a month and a half to figure out my Austalian Shepards registered name. The kennel name is Briarwood and his mom's name Briarwood's Blue Belle and his father was Briarwoods Twistin Jackson. After I thought about it I cane up with Briarwoods Black Jack. We just call him Bandit. If you wanted you wouldn't even have to include Creed in his registered name.

There is a breeder called Liberty Boxers, if that matters to you.

Cookie's kennel used the name CaJon, her dam was Har-Vel's Kansas City Kitty, and one of her great-great granddams was Holly Lane's Cookie. Her registered name is KC CaJon Cookie.
