I'm so jealous!

A couple years from now, I hope to adopt a little deaf, white brother for my Daisy - I've been thinking either "Bentley" or "Koda" for him.

One thing you want to keep in mind is being comfortable with a sign that will represent the dog's name. If you give him a name like "Rocket" or "Chance", there is a set ASL sign that you can use to get his attention. If you use a human name (such as "Lance" or "Beethoven"), you'll probably have to come up with a name sign for him.

You can use this website to look up some ASL words if that might be helpful:
Signing Savvy | ASL Sign Language Video Dictionary

(That's the website I use to teach myself, since I'm training Daisy on ASL hand signals instead of traditional dog training hand cues.)

I hope this helps a little bit!

*Edited because I just saw that you're from Australia! - SO sorry for the assumption! Use this website, instead:

Oh, that's such a wonderful bit of luck that you were able to find each other! So glad that he found a mommy who can look past his "special needs"

PLEASE post pics when you get him! The white ones are just sooooo precious as pups!

I always figured if I had a white boxer I would name him Casper. (I don't know if you know of the old comic of Casper the Friendly Ghost.)

Diablow is ADORABLE! Love his eye patches

If you click on your username it will take you to your info page... near the top, under your username, there is a long gray bar that says "Customize Profile" on the right in white letters - click that. Then, on the left, under "Settings & Options", click on "Edit Avatar". You can upload and save it from there

It's definitely a MACHO name!!! hahaha

It goes well with "Diablow", certainly! Of course, you'll likely have to see him to really know what suits him... I had a couple different names picked out for my pup before meeting her, and she ended up with something entirely different!

I'm starting to wonder, though, if I should've named her "Sharptooth" - it would certainly be fitting! Boy, I can't wait for those adult teeth to come in

I love Polo its so apt. I dont know if anyone is familiar with boxing trems but south paw is a term used for an under cut and thats what my son thinks we should have called Roge because of his rough play anticks.
