Naming the pooch

Can I run my potential names by you for your thoughts? The chronic planner in me is already thinking about names for my future boxer pup; I'm getting a boy so I'm considering the following:

Kaiser
Fritz
Atlas
Pollux
Orion
Apollo

Something else?? I'm open to suggestions. I know that one may seem 'right' once I meet him but I want to at least get it narrowed down. Thanks so much!

I think I like Orion the best of all the names, I have heard of boxers called Kaiser and Apollo before.

naming your pooch

It took days to figure out what to call our new boxer. I couldn't think of the perfect name, but finally I named him Tugger because he tugged at my heart every time I looked at him! He also "tugs" while walking on the leash. So it fits both ways.

Kaiser - sounds like shizer!!
Fritz - sounds more a name for a small dog
Atlas - would be nice for a flashy boxer i think
Pollux - sounds too much like something else ; )
Orion - i like this one the best
Apollo - i like this name, but it means 'destroyer'! could be relevant tho!

If you like German names, these are some of my favourites:
Henrik-ruler of the home (!)
Isaak - laughter (perfect for a boxer!)
Waren - loyal

I always pick my pets name based on the meaning as well as the sound (my baby Fiona is so called because it means 'beautiful and white' which she is!) and these for me have great meanings.
