Wil is named after the character Karen on Will and Grace. When Karen goes out to the bars, she calls herself "Anastasia Beaverhausen". Wilma is after Will also a main character on the program. Thus...Wilma Anastasia Beaverhausen!
Emmett is after the cleaning guy in our office. He is Emmett and my dh and I think he is really cool!

Chester was named after the lead singer of Linkin Park. His middle name is Rooney, which is the name of the principal in Ferris Bueller's Day off. Both of which are household favorites.

These were very cool to read. Interesting reasons for names....
Before I was married I wanted a girl puppy named Ali after a friend of mine. I am sure she appreciated that. Dempsey was named after the boxer Jack Dempsey who is supposedly an old famous boxer. I have no clue but husband loves him some boxing! Dempsey sounded cute to me though! |

We actually didn't know this when we picked out the name but Laila shares her name with the boxer Laila Ali (Muhammad Ali's daughter).

Our Pom/Eskie mix (who we had before) was named Beamer after Frank Beamer, head football coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies! Our beautiful brindle baby girl is named Layne after Lane Stadium (football stadium) at Virginia Tech. Can you tell we're avid fans??

We named Casey after Ken Casey. Lead singer from the Dropkick Murphys. Boston band who love the Red Sox like my hubby & boys.
