Unhappy Lost Tinkerbell in Mesa, Arizona

So this morning I was out walking Tinkerbell and 2 big dogs came running up to her, knowed her over and scared her. As I was trying to get my hand out of the leash so I could let her go (at least then she'd have her collar on) she slipped her head out of her collar somehow and took off. I am so sad. I drove all around and can't find her anywhere. If people don't have control of their animals they should not be in their yards without a leash!!

She is a 6mo old fawn/docked boxer with white markings down the center of her face and on her chest. All 4 paws have white "boots." She is pretty small only about 25lbs.

Oh boy! I sure hope she finds her way home again soon!

Keep calling for her, I'm sure she didn't go far and is hiding somewhere's from them dogs. I'd be having a very stern talk with those owners!

Keeping fingers crossed!

Did you find her? There is a new service that will call all the residents in your area...sort of an "amber alert" for dogs. It costs money but could be worth it! Lost Dog | Lost Cat | Missing Dogs | Stolen Pets | Pet Alert Service

Smile Got her back!! :)

Just a quick update. I got Tinkerbell back the other night. Someone saw one of my fliers when checking their mail and called and said they had my dog. So she is home safely now and is going to get microchipped and be walked with a no pull harness or an extra collar from now on.
Thanks for all the happy thoughts!

That's great she made it home! What an angel who found her and didn't take her to the shelter where God knows what would have happened.

Another story where microchipping may have been the only saving grace if the pup ended up in a shelter.

Glad to hear she's home safe and sound! Hope she was very nice to her temporary hostess.

Thumbs up

We were very thankful they didn't take her to the shelter, even though we were going at least once a day to look for her. An older man had Tink and said he was gonna keep her if he didn't find her home & that she is a good dog. He said she followed his adult daughter home when she was out walking the morning she got lost. But we are very happy that she is home now with us again.
