Unhappy Lost Boxer

Our boxer went missing the first of July. She is 2years old, but small for a boxer. She is light brown with white on her chest, feet, a patch on the back of her neck, tummy, and face( around her mouth, nose and up between her eyes). She also has pink around her mouth with black lips. If you know any information please let me know. We are missing her like crazy! Thanks

I’m so sorry that you lost your girl. Were there any sightings/leads right after it happened? Did she have tags on? Was she microchipped?

Have you been posting lost ads on Craig’s list with a picture? I know of a family that lost their two boxers and kept posting on Craig’s list. Finally after months the right person saw the ad and told them where to go. They found their dogs living at a house miles away.

Also (if you haven’t already) put up a ton of flyers (in your neighborhood, vets offices, pet stores, carwashes, dog parks, parks, schools, etc) & if possible leave flyers on the doors of houses around you. The more people that know you are looking the better.

Talk to all the kids that live near you. Children are a great resource (Show them a picture) they usually know who has dogs, who may have found a dog, etc.

Search all shelters, even ones that are miles away. And sadly don’t forget to check with animal control for their lists of deceased dogs too (she may have been hit). And reach out to the boxer rescues in your state.
