Talking Really Excited!

Hi everybody! My name is Kautivo, I live in Oklahoma, and like the title says I'm really excited, because I'm getting my first puppy in my starting family! My first puppy in my family, its because I got married 1 1/2 years ago and my wife and I bought a house recently (about 8 months ago). I have been always interested in boxers because of what I have read about them. I'd like an energetic dog, alert and that can be nice with kids and they look really pretty to me. I'm here to learn, share and help as much as I can as I keep learning. I don't have my dog yet, but at this moment! the breeder is sending me more pictures of the two dogs I'm interested in. And as it now! I just made my mind for Sonny! I'm calling the guy tomorrow to arrange so I can make the deposit and as soon as the little one turns 8 months, I will go get him! It is weird to be writing this as the same time as I'm texting and emailing back and forth with the breeder. Like I said before, I'm learning as much as I can so I can be a little more prepared for when Sonny gets home. I don't know what else I can tell you...
I don't have kids yet, so Sonny will be the first addition to the family.
I will be talking to you people later! :-)

Question Just wondering!

What do you enjoy more? The puppy stage of your dog or the adult stage?

Welcome and Congratulations on your puppy. I didn't get my girl as a puppy but I have fostered puppies and been around them a lot and I must say I really enjoy the adult years the best. Don't get me wrong I love puppies and they are so cute and learn quickly it is just much easier taking care of the adults. Puppies are lots of work and lots of training and lots of potty breaks ...I could go on and on. I really do love puppies thou and our next one will be a puppy for sure.

You know! I though that was going to be the answer of most people, and I understand how hard could be getting to the safest ages (adulthood) of a pet. I just can't wait, first, to have my dog, and second, to be able to play hard on our backyard. Thank you helenweekley for your welcoming!
