Hello from Australia!
One month ago, we fostered a deaf white boxer named Meesha. She was a flea-infested bag of bones when she first came to our house but after a few days, she started to gain some weight, loose some of her anxiety and start to blossom into a beautiful dog. I spent hours researching how to 'sign' to her and loved seeing her quickly learn basic things like 'sit', 'water', 'poop', 'sssshhhhh!' etc. I have grown up with Boxers and had a deep love of their goofy natures and funny antics but my husband had never witnessed it for himself so needless to say, after having her live with us for 10 days, he told me we were going to adopt her and make her ours!! We have a large family with 7 children and a Jack Russell named Toby so Miss Meesha was coming into a house of love and attention which, as all Boxer owners would know, suited her perfectly!! Meesha has just turned 1 year old so she has tonnes of energy and when she's charging down our tiled hallway looking like a cross between a horse and an octopus, you can't help but nearly laugh your head off!! We live in sunny Queensland on the east coast of Australia.
