Hello from RI

I am a newbie, and have visited the boards several times since December 2010, when my husband and I welcomed Seamus, my now 7 month old fawn boxer, into our home. When he first joined our family, we had an 8 year old white boxer (who we had adopted from relocating relatives), but, sadly, our white boxer is gone now. We were hoping that our two boys would grow together, but we are focusing on training our puppy before welcoming another boxer home. We are enjoying the sometimes crazy ride of puppyhood, and loving boxers as we do, find this site and forums very helpful in our journey!

We live 'outside Providence', and yes, Seamus is my favorite name, given to our pup so that my not-of-Irish-descent husband (Italian descent) will avoid his possible future son from getting the name! Happy to be here!
