New to Boxer World

Hello,

My husband and I adopted a 2 year old fawn girl in October. Her name is Allie. She's been a complete joy since we got her. She's extremely loving despite being abused in her past life. We don't know much about her past excpet that she was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter. She was with a family but we don't know why she was surrendered. She has scars on her legs from being tied up and she used to cower when we'd go to pet her but she's learned that we won't hit her and trusts us now. She's very smart and picks up quickly with her training. She has some minor issues but considering what she's been through, they're nothing we can't work with.

She is our first boxer. We decided on a boxer because they are great with kids and we're going to be starting a family soon. They are so loving, loyal and how can you not love that face? We got very lucky. Our girl has the best personality! I've had dogs in the past but none of them compare to Allie.
