New Member Intro

I'm a new Boxer owner. I don't know much about the breed, but I need to learn fast. My cousin bought a puppie 2 months ago and decided he's too much to handle (she and her husband and 6 month old twins! I don't know what she was thinking when she got the dog). I have the space and time to take on another dog. This new pup is a companion to my senior Heinz 57 boy.

Looking forward to reading about the breed, health issues to watch for, training tips, etc.

How old is your little guy?? Boxers are great pups to have!! They require a lot of attention but they are some of the most LOYAL pups you will ever meet!!

He's 6 months old and quite a handful. He adores my senior boy and bounces around him all the time. my old dog tolerates him, but keeps him in line when necessary with a deep growl and an air snap.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the breed and to training this youngster who can be quite the clown at times.
