Hello! Please let me introduce ourselves!
Hello,
I am so glad to finally be registered! It took me several times reading to find the code. I looked over it several times. Anyway, our daughters gave my husband and I a beautiful 3 month old (today he is 3 months old) boxer puppy for Christmas! We were VERY surprised! Mr. Buster Bud is our puppy's name. I have been wanting a boxer but was looking for an older puppy. But, we have a 5 year old granddaughter that is afraid of larger dogs...so the puppy will grow up around her. She loves him and he loves her already! I am in need of many learning curves! Haven't had a puppy in 30+ years! But Buster is doing well. He is a very smart dog! And playfull as well! He will sit and fetch a toy...at times. When interested he will do it 3 times. I was surprised that he would do this soo soon. Plus we are working on housetraining! We are taking him out at fairly regular intervals. He went to the door and sat to go out once and scratched on the door once. Otherwise we have had to take him out. And yes, we have had some mishaps! But I think he is doing well....or we are one! I need to learn about this chewing! We have him lots of toys and chews but Buster still wants to get into my plants, papers etc. We keep him in a kennel only when we have too and at night. Anyway, I look forward to learning and sharing from this forum! Thank you! |

Thanks for the welcomes! Buster Bud is doing fairly well. And we, his parents are becoming trained and familiar with having a puppy again. We do love him so much but have a lot to learn!
