I'm new here so here it goes. We just bought a lovely little brindle and white girl. She weighs in at 10 lbs and is 7 1/2 weeks old. I'll post a picture of her when I finish here. So far she seem to be taking to training very well. House breaking is going well. Still has accidents of the wet kind but has grasp the concpt of going top the door when she had to do number 2.
To intro a little bit about her humans. There are 3 of us, mother, father, and aunt (daughter). We live in the country with a large finced in yard for her to play in. She had 1 fur baby dog and 18 fur baby cats to romp and play with. We plan on taking her to training as soon as she is old enough. We are not sure how old she has to be to take her so any adivce there will be a big help. I'm sure as she grows and develops I will be able to say more about her. First let me explain my log in name; I am Gracies second mom. My parents are her first mom and dad Our new Boxer's name is Princes Gracie May Wooden. Each member of the family chose a name for her. I chose Princes, Mom chose Gracie, and Dad added May today. We brought her home on Saturday the 24th of March. She is brindle with white on her chest, stomach neck, and paws. She tipped the scale today at 10 lbs. That's big for a puppy even for a dog as far as we are concerned as we are used to a chihuahua who only weighs 7 pounds and cats who top the scale at 15 ls the largest. So as you can see Gracie will have several furr-baby's to play with. With 3 people watching her in shifts we have decided not to crate train her as someone will be with her 24/7 for the first 18 weeks. Well, this is all I can think of saying right now. I will update a she grows older and develiops more of a personality. |
