A New Boxer Dad

Hello All,

My name is Jeremie and I am the proud dad of a 6 week old white boxer by the name of Johnny hence the name "johnnywhite".

My wife and two boys have been begging me to get a pet for quite some time now and I finally had the opportunity to get Johnny. We were able to get Johnny by chance from a friend of my Sister and have absolutely fallen in love with this bundle of joy.

I had no idea that white boxers had a bad rap but honestly do not care one way or the other, he is our pride and joy and has got to be one of the most adorable puppies I have ever seen.

Now if we could just get him to quit doing #1 and #2 on the carpet and get him to sleep all night without wimpering (it really amazes me how close a puppy acts just like a human baby!) we will be doing great.

I look forward to sharing our experiences with all of you and to hear about yours.

Congrats on your new baby! We had the same problem with our youngest baby, we put a warm water bottle (don't let it go cold) and a ticking teddy (a heartbeat bear for two legged babies) with her until she become used to her new surroundings. Hope this helps.
