Louie and Chevy

Hi,
About two years ago we decided we wanted to buy a boxer. At first we wanted to buy a puppy so I called few of the reputable breeders around my area. I didn't realize how long it would take to get a puppy because most of the breeders only breed about two times a year. I continued my search and I found a breeder who had a 1.5 year old boxer name Louie, who they took back from the previous owner because they suspected abuse. My husband and I decided to see him and after about 5 minutes we fell in love with him. We always wanted to buy two boxers, but we wanted a puppy first and then go through Boxer Rescue. But it acutally worked out better to get an older boy first. Then about 5 months later one of the breeder called me that they had puppies available and again after we saw them, we picked one and went to visit him every week before being able to bring him home. At first we were a bit nervous about introducing the pup, Chevy, to Louie. But from day one they were best friends. Now Louie is 3 and Chevy is 1.5 years old and they just adore each other.
