chicken with fat?

my wife recently bought a bunch of chicken while it was on sale. she spent time trimming the fat off of it before freezing it and once i saw the amount of chicken/fat that was trimmed off i was thinking it might be ok to boil it for the dogs. is that wrong or should i further trim the fat off leaving the chicken left or is the fat ok to leave and boil it for my little babies?

I'm not quite clear on what it is you're proposing to give to your dogs...?

If it is the chicken skin/fat only, then absolutely no. Eating a bunch of fat is no good for them, no better than it would be for you. And that amount of fat is liable to lead to problems like pancreatitis (which is a serious issue). The place for that is in the trash, not your dog's stomachs.

If, on the other hand, you're asking if its OK to give them chicken with skin/fat still attached, then the answer is yes, in moderation. Personally, I would be inclined to take some of the skin/fat off. A little is OK, so there is no need to be fanatical about removing it all - but the skin on chickens can be quite fatty, so it is best if some of it is removed before feeding.
