Bruce has been pretty much always exclusively been on a kibble diet (he's 7 months old); I'm wanting to give him more variety so I've been researching a bit on these homecooked and raw threads and there's lots of great recipes and I reckon I can do this!!
Is it okay for me to use pet mince in a 'boxer stew' along with veges/fruit etc? I don't have a pressure cooker so I'd be doing crockpot lots of cooking for him.
And how do I introduce this? I plan to keep him on kibble for one meal a day so, what - just kick it off with kibble in the morning and boxer stew at night? Or will his farts potentially be as bad as what I'm reading about and he's therefore better to have his stew in the morning so he can, errr, 'get it out of this system' before I get home from work??
And if he's on 5 cups a day of kibble and I want to feed him 2 cups of kibble, is it 3 cups of stew I give him (as a starting point - I realise I may need to change it...)
Sorry about all the questions - I'm trying to mentally walk through the process of introducing this to him!
