Whats a good fish to feed?

Tyson seems to be allergic to chicken and beef. He does ok on fish. What kinds of fish can I feed him that are high in protein, and are there any that I should stay away from? Thanks

Pretty much any small-ish fish are fine, including oily ones like sardines and mackeral. As a general rule, I'd aim for fish that don't greatly exceed that he can consume whole as a meal.

Larger fish, like tuna, are not good to feed - they're too high in mercury content (even people should limit how much tuna they eat - and we're quite a lot bigger). Pacific Northwest salmon is also something to avoid feeding raw.

Hi,

I have started occasionally adding whole sardines to my two's homecooked - their coats are getting really soft and shiny and they love them!

Thanks

I feed canned jack mackeral a couple times a month. I also give her a can of sardines every now and then.
