adding cooked egg for more protein?

I know you can feed egg raw, but Im looking for something I can mix with his kibble so he gets more protein. I feed natural balance because of his allergies and his has a very low abount of protein. Can I just add a cooked egg to his kibble so he gets more protein in his diet?

You could add cooked egg, cooked meat, cottage cheese, yogurt... whatever, really. Of course you'd want to avoid the things he's allergic to. If you're looking to add something to every singe meal, it probably should be more varied than just egg.

Feeding him a raw meal every once in a while is another way to up his protein intake. Or give him raw meaty bones in between meals sometimes.

Raw egg is better, but if you really want to up the protein I suggest you add some cooked lean meat from various sources.

My Sam is on NB due to allergies; I supplement with a semi-cooked egg once a week and meat-based homecooked everynight with his kibble. This has really helped him.

I personally just put in a raw egg once or twice a week with their kibble. They love it.

I used to do this with Bailey too (before I switched to homecooked) and he loved it.

I could be wrong.... but I think I may have read somewhere that if you cook an egg then the white bit is not very good for them.
