Question Homecooking or Kibble?

Hi,

Bailey has Colitus so we always struggle with food.

He is doing fine on JamesWellbeloved kibble though, so is there any point in me trying to change his diet?

If I was to change to homecooking, is there anything in particluar that would settle well on his stomach?

Thanks

Re: Homecooking or Kibble?

If he's doing fine with the James Wellbeloved, I'd not want to change that, in case it set off his colitis again.

Thanks. That's what I thought. But.....

I've posted another thread though in the feeding forum - don't want to duplicate in here so can you have a look please?!

Re: Homecooking or Kibble?

I am leaning more and more on home cooked meal for my dog. The price for good quality dog dry food is extremely expensive here and sometimes I have issue with "use before" date. Now I am doing big research on home-cooked meal and it is not that time-consuming as I first thought. I have been talking to many people in the dog run and many are very happy since they switched to home-cooked meal. One thing all told me that their dogs pooped much less. Right now my dog gets home-cooked a bit on top of his kibbles.

What food do you home cook? A certain type of meat? Veggies?
