Traumeel experience/dosage

Hello all,

We recently adopted a beautiful six year old brindle girl. She had a pin in her leg that should have been removed when she came to our rescue. She was not very mobile at that time (10 months go), and has improved significantly since the pin was removed probably right at the time she came. Her leg was atrophic, and still is. This has probably improved much since the surgery. She has been with us for a week exactly and we are working on stretches and exercise to strengthen. At the receipt of her health records and our copy of the adoption papers, she will go meet my vet to do a preliminary exam in order to start water therapy at a Canine Rehab center nearby.

She came with Traumeel and this was my first experience with it. I am giving her 1 100mg pill three times per day. She is not showing signs of distress, but is reactive to other dogs and still to my male. She will not lay on her bad leg. When running, she sort of hops with her whole rear end at times. The occurrence of this has significantly reduced since I started her on Glucosamine/MSM. Because she does not limp and is significantly more mobile than I originally expected, I am not sure whether to up Traumeel dosage or not. Because of her reactivity to other dogs and lack of closeness to my male, I am concerned that she may be in pain. I posted more in behavioral forum, Training subforum.

As far as Traumeel goes, I have only found one thread about it and will post link below. The jury is still out whether her pin was for ACL or broken leg, and I'm not sure if that makes a difference in my question.

I would like to know if any of you have used Traumeel, what dosage and weight, and what your experiences were. Her weight is around 60-65 lbs.

Thanks!

Anyone used Traumeel?
