buying frontline

Tyson's best buddy has shared some little "friends" with him. Prior to this, I had been using DE with great results. But Charlie was more or less infested with them, and now Tyson has some. I can't get any Frontline Plus here (sold out) so, does anyone order online? I checked out a couple sites as well as ebay. Any suggestions? I have given him a flea bath, fogged the house. So, going with the Frontline again.
Thanks guys.

Hi although i am new to all this i have just bought some frontline from Pet Shop at Petfleas for all your pets needs - Home although it is a uk site they ship abroad too. I havent yet received it but have had a confirmation e mail.
A lot of sites now are requesting a prescription either from your vet, but this site allowed me to buy without!

Good luck kate

Thank you Princessmoog. I will be checking that site out for sure. I was just curious if anyone has bought any online only to find the expiration date has expired. I guess that is my main concern.
Thanks again

Be careful with Frontline. What is sold overseas is NOT the same formula as is sold in the USA and is techincally illegal to buy from them and have it sent here as it is not EPA approved. Also purchasing from e-bay I do not recommend I've done it, learn from my mistake, it was all fake/counterfit and NOT USA approved Frontline Plus.

I only purchase from vetdepot.com online as it's the cheapest I've found being EPA approved for sale in the USA and is the USA version. When it comes to putting chemicals on them I'm VERY selective and where I want to get a good price I also want to keep them safe.

Good luck!

There is no expiration date on Frontline/Frontline Plus as it will last forever if kept in the correct conditions. If you receive a box with an expiration date it is a counterfeit product and you need to dispose of it immediately. If you go to the EPA website there is a ton of information on counterfeit and unsafe Frontline/Frontline Plus and Advantage being sold on the market.

Just an FYI Frontline/Frontline Plus is NOT a prescription product (you can purchase it at PetCo and they don't have vets), so I'm not sure what site was requesting an RX from your vet but I haven't found any that do and I think I've searched them all. Heartworm medication is an RX only but again, these are chemicals you are giving your pets and are dangerous enough it is very important to only purchase from reputable companies, online or in person.

Thank you BxrMommie for clearing that all up for me. To be honest, I never really looked for an expiration date. Just figured it had one. Sorry for the confusion. I will check out the site you listed. I know your very picky about what goes on your babies because of allergies and what not. I appreciate your help with this. Just really upset that I took all this time to "deflea" my yard and home only to have the neighbor inform me after playing that their dog has fleas. UGGGGG

Well technically if your dogs, yard, and home are protected it really shouldn't matter if other dogs have fleas. I treat my dogs so I know if they go and play with a dog that has fleas it really doesn't matter.

No but in the UK, you can only buy it if there is a "qualified person" or vet on site at the time. The same is now with wormers

Oh my apologies I didn't see you were in the UK and I forget many times that this is a world site. I'm sorry! Many people in the USA think it's an RX as well, so it's a very common statement here, so I didn't even think twice about it.

Again my apologies!
