bad breath...
What can I do to help my boy with his nasty breath. His teeth aren't dirty. He is getting and losing teeth now (I don't know if that would cause the halitosis). Is there anything I can do to help make his breath smell better. I love his kisses, but not the smell.

I noticed that when my boy chews on a particular brand of raw hide that his breathe is smellier. Perhaps it's something that he has eaten?

Atlas had the same problem and we got him some "breath treats". They have eucalyptus oil and parsley we give him one after each meal (he eats twice a day) and then just one in the middle of the day. It worked for him

I think it is something he has eaten (possibly even his kibble) but he loves it and his stomach handles it well so I hate to switch to anything else. I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to make me more comfortable when he gives kisses haha.

What are you feeding him? Also fresh parsley helps as well.

Cody had the most atrocious breath as a puppy, however he outgrew it. Now his breath is no worse than anyone's breath, a little smelly right after he eats but within 20 minutes it is back to normal. Aniah never has had a bad smelly breath problem, knock on wood she doesn't develop one.

My girl has this problem and I give 1 tsp of chopped fresh parsley on her food at each meal (she eats twice a day) and her bad breath is all gone. Was easy to find in the grocery store, cost me around 49 cents and that bunch lasted me 2 weeks. Cheap, easy to come by, and best of all it works!

I was going to ask if it worked out for her. That's great!

I think I will try the parsley. I really think his breath is so smelly from him losing teeth. It was fine before this started. I am sure once his gums are healed and his new teeth are in that this nasty halitosis will clear up.
